These Vows! Cassidy and Drew's Northwest Arkansas Wedding

“You took a boy who was closer to a raccoon than someone worth marrying and helped shaped him into the man you see before you today, and for that I owe you everything.”

“I don’t remember the time or the moment that I fell in love with you. It was more like watching a sunset; slowly at first and then all at once.”

Cassidy and Drew’s personal vows were funny, poetic, and perfectly spoken to one another. When Cassidy wrote me back in late 2017 she told me about how she and Drew met and fell in love after an infamous date where Drew showed up wearing a cat t-shirt. You’ll hear more about that in the film.

I knew from our first contact that Cassidy and Drew were good people authentic and kind. I also knew they were very much in love.

Cassidy and Drew are wedding videographers, so you would naturally think the pressure would be on for us, but the truth is they were one of the most easy going, non-stressed couples we’ve ever worked with. They were fully present all day. They took every advantage to inject personal touches and meaning into their ceremony and reception, like inviting Drew’s grandpa to officiate.

Everyone needs a Papa Max for their wedding officiant. He told little tidbits of story during the ceremony which made me laugh and even tear up a bit because it was evident just how much he loves Drew and Cassidy.

I could go on and on about how this sweet couple spent time creating special moments that made their day memorable and special. To Drew and Cassidy, thank you for giving us all a glimpse into your hearts. We love you! –Leslee

The Sweetest Vows Ever | Lauren and Mason's Milam Castle Wedding OKC

and Mason Trevino had everyone caught up in the moment with them on their wedding day. Those vows though! I’ve never seen vows with quite as much real emotion. All of us who were lucky enough to be there could feel the love they have for each other throughout the day. The venue was completely packed! So many friends and family all there because Lauren and Mason are truly special people. This is what Lauren had to say when I asked her about her wedding day: “To all our vendors, friends, and family: There truly are no words to express the gratitude and appreciate to everyone who made our wedding day the most memorable and beautiful day we could have ever dreamed of. You all truly made our dreams come true and we are so thankful that you all took the time to share our most amazing day with us.”

Two Musicians' Tie the Knot in Pennsylvania

I'm fairly positive Kim and I were sisters in a former life. I met her at a videography conference where she was hired to perform as a musician. We hit it off. We spent that week jumping into pools fully dressed, biking around Cancun, and promising to stay in touch. And we did. Kim was the ninja photographer at my surprise proposal in NYC and I was invited to film her wedding to Brandt a few months ago with Chasen. Pretty cool. But, it gets cooler.
Brandt is also a musician who is part of a band I've been licensing music from since probably 2012. Brandt and Kim's music has been the soundtrack to about 30 of our films throughout the years. I never would have thought I'd someday meet them and shoot their wedding. Guess whose music provides the score for this highlight film? Yup. Kim's instrumental version of "Blue" is the first song and "Snowy Shores" is the second song by Dream City Orchestra, a musical collective of composers/artists of which Brandt is a member.
Wondering how these two musical geniuses met up? Here's their story:
It all began in 2007 when Brandt first met Kim at college in Dallas. No more than casual acquaintances during school, they reunited a few years after their graduation, when a mutual friend invited Brandt to Kim’s show. Kim asked Brandt if he would play guitar for her shows around Dallas as he was known for being a talented musician. As a result of joining their creative forces, they quickly became good friends.
In 2013, after years of wanderlust spent between Pennsylvania, Texas, and California, Kim returned home to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family. Brandt shortly thereafter moved to Austin, and the two had never been further apart. However, Brandt and Kim kept in touch, and the phone calls and video chats grew from quick check-ins to lengthy 4-hour, ‘you hang up first’ events. Their friendship steadily drew their hearts closer, and Brandt knew that he would one day marry Kim. He eventually flew to Pennsylvania to ask Kim out on their first date.
A year of long distance dating led Brandt to move only 2 houses down the street from where Kim lived in PA. A few short months later, he proposed to her on “their” snowy park bench in February 2018 on the one-year anniversary of their first date.
We love you Kim and Brandt!

Mother of the Bride Passes Away 2 Days After Wedding | A Daughter's Tribute

I sit staring at my keyboard not knowing what to say. Kaylie and Keegan, you have touched my heart with your love and vulnerability. Your mom must be so proud of you.

To those of you learning about Kaylie and Keegan's story for the first time, I know no words are needed. They tell it best in their own voices.

“Words flow from love, and speech is likewise confounded by love. It is the sweetest gesture to be without words, and with words, all the same." -Zechariah Barrett

The Most Romantic Rosemary Ridge Wedding Kaylee and Jake

Kaylee and Jake wrote each other the sweetest letters and they both had a hard time getting through them. That's when I knew for sure that even if it rained through the ceremony (and it did) that these two wouldn't mind. As long as they were married at the end of the day, that's all they really needed. I adore Kaylee's smile and the way Jake dotes on her. Everyone was caught up in the romance of the day and their send off ended up being one of my favorites of all time. I mean, the fur jacket, the sparklers, the cheering guests, and of course, Jake sweeping Kaylee off her feet once more!

Maddie and John's Best First Kiss Ever!

When Maddie first reached out to us about the possibility of filming her wedding, this is what she had to say about her relationship with John: "My fiancé and I went to high school together. Although we knew of each other, we hung out in totally different groups of people and didn't know one another very well. In September of 2016 my sister posted a picture on Facebook saying I had passed the bar exam! John Michael sent me a private message congratulating me on passing the bar exam and included "I hope I never have to go against you in court." I messaged him back asking why he would say that and he told me he was a police officer. I told him that we were actually on the SAME TEAM (I am a prosecutor) and we just started talking from there. He asked me on a date and we have been inseparable ever since!!!!!" Their wedding day was over the top elegant AND over the top energy! The dance floor was packed, the laughter was loud, and the love was evident. We're so honored to have been there to capture the first day of Maddie and John's happily ever after.

Kelly and Isaac's Downtown OKC Wedding

and Isaac Hellbusch were married in downtown Oklahoma City in a beautiful church and then topped off the evening with a rockin’ reception at The Skirvin Hilton. The ballroom was glowing, the guests were smiling, and Kelly and Isaac danced the night away with their closest friends and family. All in all, just the kind of wedding to start a life of love and happiness. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hellbusch!

Tiffany and Kassidy's Beautiful Skirvin Hilton Wedding

“I’ve got one thing going for me, and that’s love.  Endless amounts of love for you.  Love that I will show you every second of every day for the rest of my life.  Monday morning?  Boom.  Love.  A Jim and Pam, Sleepless In Seattle, Ana and Christian kind of endless fairy tale love.” Does it get any better than that?  Kassidy and Tiffany’s letters to each other were perfection.  They brought that same kind of attention and heart to their entire day.  The positive energy of their wedding day was so contagious that I found myself laughing and crying off and on throughout the day as if I’d known these two ladies my entire life and been part of their love from the beginning.  I think everyone in attendance felt welcomed into their story.  It’s fairly easy to create a wedding day with a beautiful aesthetic, but it takes intentionality and vulnerability to create a wedding day with a beautiful energy.  I’ve never seen it done better.  Tiffany and Kassidy, my heart and my respect goes out to you.  Thank you for bringing us along to share in your story.

Marissa and George's OKC Catholic Wedding Gaylord Pickens Hall of Fame

Marissa and George met at a Catholic church gathering where they were thankfully seated at the same table so they could get to know each other a little better before George asked Marissa on their first date. Marissa knew he was the one for her when he took her bowling and they had the best time together. George knew she was the one for him when she asked him to Adoration and they spent quiet time together sharing their faith. It’s plain to see they fit perfectly. Marissa and George, wishing you many years of love and happiness!!!

Danielle and Slade's The Springs Edmond Outdoor Wedding

I first met Slade when he was planning his surprise proposal to Danielle.  He sat in my living room and told me his story of how they met and fell in love.  Part of that conversation became one of the main storylines for the video of that amazing evening when Slade took Danielle to a restaurant and I secretly met him in the back to tape a lav mic to his chest so we could catch his super sweet proposal to Danielle later that evening on the grounds of The Red Barn At Waldo’s Pond.  What a night!  He asked.  She cried.  She said YES.  They partied with their friends.  It was ideal.  Fast forward almost a year to another beautiful location with many of the same cast of characters who witnessed Danielle and Slade exchange vows and begin their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Scott.  I think it’s safe to say they’ve found each other’s person.  We couldn’t be happier for you both and we wish you a lifetime of love!

Megan and Zach's Enchanted Forest Wedding

Nothing could be better than a fairytale themed wedding at Southwind Hills Enchanted Forest.  Inspire Events designed the perfect backdrop for Megan and Zach’s day.  Only a couple as devoted to showing their real feelings for each other could have made this day as magical as it truly was.  Their letters, the toasts, the officiant’s message, the incredible first dance, the helicopter exit…all of it ideal.  I know everything I’m writing here is so cliché, but the truth is, they nailed it.  Megan and Zach are clearly over the moon for one another and we can’t wait to see them live, you guessed it, #HappilyEvermanAfter

Natasha and Nick's Estes Park Mountain Wedding

“God has a funny way of making us live life, experience joys and heartache, all to prepare us for His path…our path together.” Natasha and Nick were reunited 10 years after meeting one another for the first time, and this time they fell in love. Nick remembers it like this: “When I walked in the door and we gave each other a hug and it almost felt like we picked up where we left off.  As the evening went along I realized I hadn’t stopped smiling since I walked in the door.  After that night all I knew was that I wanted to see her again.” Natasha says, “The beauty of our relationship is that we got to know each other before we had to impress each other. I already knew he was a loyal, passionate, hilarious, life loving, generous man and friend, and now I get to know him as a companion.” We couldn’t be happier for Natasha and Nick. I know Natasha as a wedding industry colleague. She is an extremely talented hair and makeup artist who has a knack for making everyone around her feel at ease. She is naturally beautiful and lights up even more when Nick is beside her. They are both very close to their families, which is evident on their wedding day with Natasha’s dad officiating and every other family member having a role in giving the couple blessings and celebrating together in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Thank you Nick and Natasha for letting us all witness your love story!

Lindsay and Brian's Stables Wedding

In Lindsay's own words, "Brian and I both are in our mid-late 30s are really had gotten set in our own individual lives. Him being a farmer with very little time to spare while the sun is still up, and me being a very busy ER doctor that has devoted my life to my education/training. On a whim at the urging of a friend I enrolled in Match online. Within weeks Brian popped up in my "matches" and the rest is history! Brian and I met and literally closed down the restaurant on our first date and we've been talking nonstop since then. He is my gift from God and I'm so thankful for the crazy internet that brought us together. I just thought my life was complete, and then I met him and now it really is!"

I challenge you to watch this film and not want to be besties with Lisa and Binh. Their energy is so positive and love-filled. The reception had this magical buzz in the air that can only be explained by the obvious joy that these two carry around wherever they go. Kayly and Kenneth's Romantic Fall Wedding at The Springs Norman

Kayly and Kenneth were married at The Springs in Blanchard on the most perfect fall day ever. I cannot think of a day more brimming with real emotion. Whitney and Mike’s story makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy. They remind us all that true love is sometimes sweetest the second time around. Allison and Davis's Laughter-Filled OKC Devon Tower Wedding

Okay, can we talk for just a second about how opposites attract?  Allison’s maid of honor made mention on the wedding day how Davis is the yin to Alli’s yang, and after spending even a few moments with these two, it’s evident that she might be on to something.  Allison is boisterous, outspoken, funny, and kind.  Davis is quiet, calm, easy to talk to, and dotes on Allison.  The energy of the entire wedding day was infectious.  Everyone danced hard, laughed hard, and loved hard on these two special people.  Cheers to opposites attracting!  Allison and Davis, you are loved!

Nhu and Nathan's OKC Vietnamese Wedding

Nhu and Nathan have a strong faith, a tender love for each other, and a completely insane ability to throw a great party with the help of Rebecca Thai of Bespoke Events.  Wow!  We started bright and early with Holly Gannett Photography at both the bride's parent's home and the groom's parent's home to capture the preparations and the tea ceremony.  Next, they tied the knot with a ceremony at St. Andrew Dung Lac Catholic Church before partying harder than we've ever been partied with at Hy Palace Asian Restaurant with entertainment by IVINA.  The floral was breathtaking, the balloons were whimsical and fun, but our favorite part was the absolute rave of a dance floor.   Laughter, singing...grandpa was even tapping on his Heiniken with a soup spoon while grandma danced with all the young ladies.  This is what a family celebration looks like!  Congratulations Nhu and Nathan!
